Conscious VS Unconscious actions

Dear Mum,

Things work really weirdly.

The differences between knowing what you are doing and doing something without realizing is not a very difficult thing to grasp. For example unconsciously tapping your leg or chewing on a straw. It's just a normal thing to do. But I have been doing something extremely weird lately.

I've been unconsciously sucking my stomach in.

I didn't even realise it until I started getting some pain in the stomach while I was at work. Even though I wasn't eating well, even though, yes, I was about to get my rags, but it didn't feel like any of those pains until I realised when I sighed that I've been continuously squeezing my stomach in.

I have to always think about it and have to consciously release my stomach muscles. I wouldn't mind sucking the fatty thing in if it resulted in perfectly sculptured abs but I doubt that's the case, it just hurts!

It's getting rather tiring.

But anyway, I bought my dad and brothers an Xbox360 + Kinect and a few games. Now I am bloody obsessed with it lol. I play Halo4 with dad every night like 5 years ago with the very first Halo on the old Xbox. I have officially become antisocial now with a hectic work life and my obsessive gaming addiction.

At least it keeps me occupied ;D

Waiting for my brothers to go to bed so I can start playing again!

Love you always,

Your daughter Anna ♥

Happy Holidays!

Dear Mum,

Today is Christmas day! Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!

I'm so thankful for today, because I get to have a day off from work after soooo many extra hours I did during the last few days. Yesterday I nearly had a stress attack and just give up. I got really tired but people just keep coming in and it felt like I had to deal with everything even though I had 4 others working along side me. I couldn't handle it but somehow I stayed strong and kept going and made it!

I'm having a day in bed today. Told my brothers last night not to wake me up early so I can have a sleep in. Didn't end up happening cos they wanted to open their presents so badly, but instead of going to Point Cook today I stayed home and it's getting to the point i'm getting a headache from oversleeping and having continuous naps.

12/12/12-GIA AND I GRADUATED!!!

Best thing that has happened in 2012. My girls are so supportive and my dad has such a kind heart I'm so blessed!

15/12/12- Christmas Dinner at our usual hideout

The crew and I went to have KBBQ at our usual Dae Geum place on Little Bourke St lol very quick service and the food is good. Then hopped into Dessert Story just a few blocks away for some shared dessert. Then we all gathered at this random bar which is like deep inside an alleyway full of graffiti art and garbage bins I got a tad scared. The bar served drinks with syringes! Now that's something new!

How beautiful do these flowers look that the girls gave me? It bloomed and was so pretty! I love flowers soooo much I think if I were just to get flowers for my birthday or christmas I'll be EXTREMELY satisfied! I love it!

I had Pho and Bun Bo Hue at Superbowl in Richmond one Sunday evening. I couldn't even finish 1/10 of the Bun Bo Hue because it was so spicy. And I can actually do spicy! So I had Quoc's left over Pho. Then I found a price tag sticker in it then I stopped eating. Let's just say I didn't eat much. The springrolls were good though!

23/12/12- Christmas Play

These kids are just so damn adorable! Especially the drummer boys, they are majorly cute! The angels were pretty and everyone else did a marvelous job of putting it all together.

25/12/12- Christmas Day

Last night my dad and I stayed up till 1.30am to wrap all my brothers' presents. My god we bought a whole heap. Little things at a time because we know they don't want just one present but of course a few. They were very happy with what they received :)

Like I said, here I am on Christmas Day writing up a blog post in my bed. I feel gloomy and depressed knowing that I could have had a wonderful Christmas with my whole family together. Mum, being up there looking down, you would be happy to see the smiles of my brothers faces, but it would have been better if you were still down here enjoying life with us. This year is a year of many firsts, and one of them is spending Christmas without you. I hope one day I can be happy again on this day.

Love you always,

Your daughter Anna ♥

100 day death anniversary

Dear Mum,

I cannot believe it has been over 100 days since you have left us. It's surreal to think that everything I do and all the decisions I make will no longer be in your guidance. But to me, what I am most thankful of is the family that you have gave me. I can never choose a better family to be in. ♥

Last Saturday we celebrated your anniversary at home, where the extended family came together for a small mass and a light dinner (a big one in this case). I got to hold Chi Thao's little bubbly baby Bailey again and boy does he have massive amounts of energy! He loves me though, he kept laughing when I approached him awww! I love babies!

On the Saturday was my auntie's 70th birthday but since it was your death anniversary, we did not celebrate. So we did it on Monday instead. I found a place in St Albans that sell DURIAN CAKES! I was beside myself, got completely excited and had to order one :D

On Tuesday one of my Christmas presents arrived early!! My dad bought me a new bed!! No more sleeping on the floor on a mattress, time for an upgrade! When mum passed away dad dismantled the bunk bed my mum and brother slept on and I gave me bed to my brother, therefore I've been sleeping on the floor for three months. But no more! My bed stand even got compartments LOL

On Wednesday  after work dad, brother's and I went to get my graduation photos taken. It was a fun experience and after that we had a nice large bowl of Pho and I love Pho 264 in Richmond. Gosh all the Pho places were packed, considering it was only a Wednesday. Don't they look smashing in their suits lol.

Look at them in their matching Pj's :)

Since it's christmas, of course Xmas nails are a must!

 Maz's Nails

Ida's Nails (superlong)

I have my graduation next week. I'm super excited, glad I changed my mind about going to mine because it'll be depressing graduating next year by yourself when you can celebrate with all my uni mates who have gone through the journey with me :D

Love you always,
